He was predeceased by: his close friend Rosie Smithson; his parents, Harvey and Esther; and his sisters, Delphine and Deidre.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Douglas (Dave Lessard) and Dwayne Douglas (Donna); the mother of his children Patricia Douglas; and his siblings, Daryl Douglas (Judy), Dorval Douglas and Diane Stewart (Art). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
