She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Mehmel and Katherine Mehmel. She is survived by: her husband Tom Bugg; her children, Tom Mehmel (Lilly), Kim Robb (Tim) and Shawn Le Breton (Wendy); her grandchildren, Dirk, Kayley, Matthew, Rebecca (Brendan) and Christian; her siblings, Pat Craig (Tim) and Terry Mehmel; and her stepson Scott Bugg (Brenda). She is also survived by her extended family and the many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the North Okanagan Hospice Society in memory of Elaine Bugg.
