He is survived by: his sister Petra Johnston; his children, Faith and Ian Jabs (Julie Jackson) of Vernon, BC; his nephews, Kevin Scott, Tim Scott (June) of Vernon, BC, Stacy Scott (Mary) of Dawson Creek and Elly Mys (Mike) of Drayton Valley, AB; and his great-niece Ashley.
