He was predeceased by: his parents, Etje Siegersma and Freerk Siegersma; his former wife Marcella Urquhart; and his brothers, Garem and Andries Siegersma.

He is survived by: his wife Nadine; his children, Glen (Lynn), Tobi (Wendell) and Tammy (Mario); his grandson Dustin Audia; and his brother Klaas Siegersma (Siitie).
