She was predeceased by: her husband Stan Johnson; and her son Brian Johnson. She is survived by: her daughter Sharon (Glen); her grandchildren, Kyle (Desiree), Sara (Gavin), Tristan, Austin and Brantley; and her close friend Jean Walker. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Arnie became friends with Stan through their love of motorcycles and I got to know Stan from being his secretary at Otis Elevator. Later, Mary Lou played cupid and introduced Arnie and I.
