With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maureen Ann Johnson (Vernon, British Columbia), born in Québec, Québec, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 2, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her husband Barry; and her parents, Bernard Shaw and May Shaw. She is survived by: her children, Karen (Curt), Cathy (Al) and Wayne; her grandchildren, Jana (Matt), Greg, Jason, Allison (Clay) and Cameron; her great grandchildren, Adelynne, Hillary, Luca, Anthony, Aspen, Lachlan, Nathan and Daxon; her sisters, Evelyn (Maurice) and Lynda (Ray); and her siblings-in-law, Fern, Patricia, Lynda, Myrna (Dale) and Dale. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in Maureen's name would be appreciated to honor her life.
