He was predeceased by : his former life partner Jean Handel; his wife Peggy Handel; his parents, Otto Handel and Katherina Handel; and his brother Jack Handel.
He is survived by : his sons, Brad Handel (Kathy) and Jerry Handel; his grandchildren, Kelsey Trottier, Kristy Handel, Kyla Handel and Kaylahn Dewhirst (Graham MacAulay); his great grandchildren, Ruby, Freya and Alithia; and his brother William Handel. He is also survived by numerous nieces nephews and other relatives.
Donations in memory of Walter may be made to Canadian Cancer Society - Prostate Cancer.
