He was predeceased by: his mother Chih Ti Chung; and his grandparents, Louie Non Chip Jong and Hughie Jong. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Barry Chung, Gayle Grout (Chris), Jerry Chung (Amy), Gregory Chung (Monica), Faith Leung (Sherman Peng) and Mirage Leung; his grandchildren, Maya, Amelia, Melissa, Elyse, Marcus, Owen, Rosie and Taylor; and his extended family, Alan Jong (Penn), Mary Jong, Joan Krause (Kalvin), Margaret Harrison (Alan), Jeannie Jong, Danny Jong (Jenny), Ken Leung (Elaine), Jennifer Leung and Yvonne Chan (Wah Cheong). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Wayne's name to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation.
