He was predeceased by: his daughter Kathleen Brewer (Kathi); his parents, Ernest Brewer and Emily Brewer; his stepmother Helen Brewer; and his siblings, August Brewer, Billy Brewer, Hannah Marchand, Gordon Brewer, Lloyd Brewer, Percy Brewer II, Janie Marchand, Geraldine Schroeder and Riley Brewer.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Brewer (Peggy); his children, Lyle Brewer (Clarice), Karen Hutchinson (Sid), Barry Brewer (Jan), Valerie Genaille (Frank) and Jenelle Brewer; his grandchildren, Laura, Holly, Lindsey, Brittany, Nichole, Dan, Connor, Megan, Colin, Lane, Evan, Draigan and Chris; and his sisters, Mary Anderson, Charlotte Brewer, Linda Williams, Joanne Brewer and Betty Peitzsche. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
