It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Legare (Victoria, British Columbia), who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Albert Legare to pay them a last tribute.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Legare; his daughter Wendy McLean (Don); and his grandchildren, Pam Eike (Kevin), Lauren, Caitlyn, Annika and Aksel. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
After a lengthy struggle with Alzheimer's, Albert is now at peace and will forever be in our thoughts. For those wishing, a donation in his memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or Saanich Pennisula Hospital and Healthcare Foundation.
