He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Cunha and Jaime Cunha; his niece Christina De Melo; and his brother-in-law Petar Zirkovic. He is survived by: his wife Heather; his children, Lisa (Menno) and Mark (Meg); his grandson Jakob; his siblings, Maria, Rosa, Linda (Jerome) and Jaime; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas and Jacqueline. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews, and many extended family.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Royal Oak Burial Park (4673 Falaise Dr, Victoria, BC V8Y1B4).
