He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. "Mun" Garrett and Margaret Garrett (Thibodeau); and his grandsons, Corey and Matthew. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Garrett (Northrup); his children, Richard Garrett of Bathurst, Audra Garrett Bourque (Paul) of Moncton and Janita Doucet of Caraquet; his grandchildren, Sonia, Jessica, Alex and Jayden; his great grandchildren, Sarah, Zoey, Jayden, Olivia and Liam; and his siblings, Roger Garrett (Sharon) of Bathurst, Mike Garrett (Laurinda) of Bathurst, Stephen Garrett (Barb) of Bathurst and Lorraine Boulter (Donnie) of Charlottetown, PEI..
