We are sad to announce that on April 19, 2024, at the age of 99, Assie Bains (Victoria, British Columbia), born in New Westminster, British Columbia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Assie Bains to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Tej Kaur and Partap Singh Johal; and her siblings, Asa, Gurdas, Joe and Mary.

She is survived by : her children, Sarjeet, Jerry, Jevan (Kalvin) and Harjeet; her grandchildren, Kerry, Kent Daylin (Darsh) and Kara; her great grandchildren, Nidhaan, Sahaae Kaur and Siaana; her sister-in-law Kashmir; her brother Pete; and her sister-in-law Nuna. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens (4665 Falaise Dr, Victoria, BC V8Y1B4).
