Carla Thompson Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on May 18, 2026, Carla Thompson in Victoria, British Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Carla shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Carla farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her father Bill Thompson. She is survived by: her mother Carol Thompson; her children, Daniel van der Heiden and Sara Andreas (Jesse); her grandsons, Cole, Carter and Jace; and her brothers, Aaron Thompson (Terry) and Willy Thompson (Tania).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Victoria Hospice Society Fourth Floor-Richmond Pavilion (1952 Bay St, Victoria, BC V8R 1J8).
