He is survived by: his parents, Michael Shurety and Brenda Shurety; and his sisters, Samantha Campbell and Sarah Shurety.

Chris' business flourished for over 20 years but, the pandemic and problems with an intransigent landlord, forced him to close "The Patch" in 2022.
