He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman (Elizabeth Wardell) and David. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his daughters, Charlotte Wardell (Mark van den Driessche) and Alexandra Wardell (Bill Clary); and his grandsons, Nicholas O'Brien (Irina O'Brien), Julian van den Driessche and Max van den Driessche.
