He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Stachiw and Frances Stachiw; his brother Gerry; and his sister-in-law Nina. He is survived by: his daughter Megan; the parent of his child Casey; his brother Michael (Susan); his sons, James (Emilie) and Ryan (Kellie); his sister Barb Black (Randy); his aunt Anne; his great-nephews, Hunter, Cameron and Lucas; his great-niece Hallie; his close friend Patrick Amos; his uncle Tommy; Taylor.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Harbourview Funeral Centre (499 Cumberland St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4R9). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
