She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bodnar and Mary Bodnar; her husband Alan Goranson; her siblings, Doreen, Joyce and Robert; her parents-in-law, Eric and Semilda Goranson; and her brother-in-law Dale.
She is survived by: her children, Tamara (Doug Chichak) and John (Seoyoung Ryu); her grandchildren, Tavania, Taralyn (Tamara), Yohan and Jaewon (John); her sister-in-law Barbara Yopyk; and her family, Blane Morgan, Victor, Patricia Saavedra, Sharon Johnson, Margaret Wilson and Nancy Anaya. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Cathedral (740 View St, Victoria, BC V8W1J8).
