She was predeceased by : her parents, Annie Carruthers (Borland) and George Carruthers; her son Rob Dixon; her daughter-in-law Patti Dixon; her granddaughter Melissa DenHollander; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Ella and Alana.

She is survived by : her husband Thomas Dixon; and her children, Thomas Dixon (Sylvia), Rosemarie Russell (Scott), Wendy VanZeben (Rob), Graham Dixon and Michelle Krick (Dave).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home (146 Mill St N, Waterdown, ON L0R2H0). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
