With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Embert G. Q. Van Tilburg (Victoria, British Columbia), who passed away on October 10, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Lies; and his children, Embert Jr. and Anne Castner. He is survived by: his former wife Judy; his daughter Monica; his son-in-law Doug Storey of Calgary; his grandchildren, Nicola, Philip Storey, Emily Yakashiro, Jennifer and Kathleen Castner; Paul. He is also survived by his extended family in the Netherlands, and many friends.
