He was predeceased by : his parents, Peter Dashkewytch and Mary Dashkewytch; and his wife Mary. He is survived by : his sons, George (Lea), Mark (Martha), Peter (Ladner B. C.) and Paul (Lynn); his friends, Kerstin Dashkewytch, Vicki, Roger Moore, Myles and Bonnie Borsa; his grandchildren, Troy, Travis (Carrie), Natalya (Caleb), Sonja (Joel), Jemma (Alec), Marah, Jarvis, Rob and Bryan; his great grandchildren, Dawson, Izabel, Carter, Kaylin, Gracie, Ava, Alex, Aaron and Ozias; and his great great grandchild Caspen.

Dad's routine started with daily exercise at Parkinson's, continued as the "World's Greatest Cribbage Player" seen at venues throughout the city.
