He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his sons, Ian (Colleen) and Peter (Bonnie); his sister Shirley Renoe; his grandchildren, Ariel, Brett, Devin and Winona; and his great grandchildren, Beckett, Cian, Emmett, Landen, Mattigan and Riley.
They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary last year with a "Covid" Zoom call with the family.
