She was predeceased by : her husband Carlos Chaves; and her parents, Jose and Maria (Luz Fragoso). She is survived by : her children, Humberto (Grace), Pam, Tony and John; her grandchildren, David (Beth Ann), Rosa, Michael, Angelo and Jessica; her great grandchildren, Melinha, Valentina and Bella; and her sister Dina Nogueira (Manuel).
