It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hermina (Venneman) Vanderwel in Victoria, British Columbia, who passed away on April 27, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Benjamin; her children, Marguerite (Brian), Désirée (Robert) and Alan James (Heather); her grandchildren, Vanessa (Ryan), Rebecca (Dave), Veronica, Benjamin (Greer), Sarah, Samantha and Carolyn; and her great grandchildren, Davis, Reuben, Emmeline, Owen, Charlie and Lucy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the McCall Gardens (Sequoia Centre) (4665 Falaise Dr, Victoria, BC V8Y1B4).
