He was predeceased by: his wife Marjorie. He is survived by: his sons, Norman (Berna), David, Raymond (Debra) and Thomas (Lorraine); and his brother Fred. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Howard died peacefully in his sleep on August 28, 2018, in Victoria BC after a prolonged fight with Alzheimer's.
