He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Smith and Elsie Smith; and his children, Marilyn and Philip. He is survived by: his wife Doreen; his children, Gloria, Paul (Sarah) and David (Yumiko); his grandchildren, Laura, Michael, Brian, Emily and Rachel; and his brothers, Ernie and Mel. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
