He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman Devlin and Rachelle Devlin; his children, Christopher Devlin (Claire Handley) and Heather Lang (Richard Lang); his grandchildren, Joshua Lang, Kalina Lang and Liam Devlin; his sisters, Rosemarie Thompson, Doreen Snopek and Geraldine Hetherington; his wife Cathie Devlin; and his daughter-in-law Cathie. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens (4665 Falaise Dr, Victoria, BC V8Y1B4).
