She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Beth Cook and Geoffrey C. Cook; her husband Andrew Faulkner; her daughter Gwyneth; her sisters, Nancy Cook Bruns and Carolyn Cook; and her siblings-in-law, Diedrich and Randy.

The family requests that instead of flowers, donations be made directly to the Kathryn Emily Cook Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, Queen's University, Kingston.
