He was predeceased by: his wife Carole (Hutcheson); his sister Carol Szabo; his nephew Mark Szabo; and his parents, Joseph Potts and Eleanor Potts.
He is survived by: his nephew Rick Szabo (Cindi); and his stepsons, Chris Ready (Jeanne) and Darin Ready (Debbie).
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sequoia Centre at McCall Gardens (4665 Falaise Dr, Victoria, BC V8Y1B4).
