It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lekhram Goorachurn (Victoria, British Columbia), who passed away at the age of 85, on September 4, 2025. Though Lekhram has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luckeea Pertaub and Guness Goorachurn; and his brother Hemraj. He is survived by: his wife Lynn-Dell; his sons, Anil (Amanda) and Ashley (Lin); his grandchildren, Kyle and Sophie; and his sister Ishwaday. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parkside Hotel and Spa (810 Humboldt St, Victoria, BC V8V5B1).
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Victoria Hospitals Foundation Support Surgical Innovation (https://www.victoriahf.ca) so that they can perform more minimally invasive surgical procedures, like the one that Lekhram experienced.
