He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar Chapple and Jess Chapple; his wife Dallas; his siblings, Norman and Josephine; and his children, Norman Chapple (Sharon) of Vernon, B. C., Lindsey Russell (Mel) and Nancy Chapple Smokler. He was also cherished by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and cousins.
