We bid farewell to Les Safranyik (Victoria, British Columbia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Les touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Les may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Les touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Elizabeth (Justin) and Laszlo (Gina); and his grandchildren, Max, Grace, Alex, Julien, Jack and Natalie. He is also survived by extended family, colleagues, and many friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph the Worker Parish (753 Burnside Rd W, Victoria, BC V8Z1M9).
