With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Johnson (Victoria, British Columbia), born in Mundare, Alberta, who passed away on September 16, 2022 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon; and her grandson Dante. She is survived by: her sons, Perry and Todd; and her grandchildren, Julian and Sophia.

“It is so sad to hear of Lois's passing. She and I enjoyed many years of camaraderie as Rockland Neighbourhood Association land-use committee volunteers, and later, as friends over lunch. Lois taught me most of what I know about zoning and land-use - her sharp mind and relentless determination was an inspiration! I will miss her sense of humour, her feisty quest for justice, her inquisitive mind, and her affectionate, generous, friendly spirit. She was a neighbourhood gem and a dear friend.”
