She was predeceased by: her husband Chester; her parents, John Slade and Leah Slade (Mullay); her parents-in-law, Elijah and Maude Vaters; and her daughters-in-law, Judy Vaters and Rose Slade.
She is survived by: her sons, Alvin Slade (Jeanette) and Derrick Vaters (Kelly); her granddaughters, Sherry Frampton (Phil), Christa Kane (Mark) and Dena Vaters (Carl Garland); her great grandchildren, Dustin, Angel White, Brooklyn, Blake Kane, Kyra and Kylie Frampton; her stepgrandchildren, Jennifer Gorman (Shawn), Brad Summers (Aimee) and Paul Summers; her stepgreat-granddaughter Lexie Gorman; and her sister-in-law Doris Vaters.
