He was predeceased by: his uncle George Henderson; his parents, David Oakley Pitkin and Leone Edna Pitkin; and his sister Linda. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Ann Pitkin; his children, Colin David and Erin Elise; his children-in-law, Joanna Pitkin and Andy Spurling; his grandchildren, Isaac (Spurling), Elise (Pitkin), Theo (Pitkin), Levi (Spurling) and Arlo (Spurling); his sibling Dale Henderson Pitkin (Janet); his children, Stephanie and Kelly; his siblings-in-law, Caroline Tanswell and Rick MacNeil; his nieces and nephews, Nicola and Katrina; and his extended family, Steve, Gene and Doug.
