Rhys leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rhys’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Rhys will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his parent Emrys Smallwood. He is survived by: his mother Yvonne Smallwood; his wife Stacie Louttit; his son Dylan; his sisters, Laura Smallwood (Jackie Anderson) and Lynn Smallwood; and his nephews, Brys Stafford and Evan Stafford (Kassandra). He is also survived by children; and three grand-nieces.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the McCall Gardens (4665 Falaise Dr, Victoria, BC V8Y1B4).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rhys's memory to the BC Cancer Foundation in support of lymphoma research.
