It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Margaret (Wilson) Shorting (Victoria, British Columbia), who passed away on May 10, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack and Mae; and her siblings, Jean, Murray and Elaine.

She is survived by: her children, Patty (Steven), Allen (Liz), Linda (Sherry), Donna and Paul (Denice); and her grandchildren, Elise, Nathan, Beatrice, Tamiya, Hannah, Isabelle, Taylor and Luke.
