It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shaun Angelo Zanolla (Victoria, British Columbia), born in Orillia, Ontario, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Colleen Janette Duffy; his grandparents, Margaret, Hector Zanolla and Allan Edward Duffy; his stepgrandparents, John and Barbara Bennett; his mother-in-law Colleen Gurney; his foster mother Marg Pagee (Seigler); and his pet Newt.
He is survived by: his father John Thomas Zanolla; his stepmother Joanne Bennett Irving; his brother John Bennett; his friend Victoria; his wife Carrie Wicheruk; his pet Brody; his brother Justin; his uncle Stewart Zanolla; his aunt Suzanne Kubasta; his siblings-in-law, Anna Tate, Erin Beattie, Mikayla Gatzke, Christopher Tate and Jamie Wicheruk; his father-in-law Frederick Bourque; his nieces, Olivia Bennett and Ryan Beattie; his friend Martha Studer; his grandmother Joan Duffy; his cousins, Evan and Cameron Zanolla; and his foster brothers, Leonard and Ken Seigler.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Centre at McCall Gardens (4665 Falaise Dr, Victoria, BC V8Y1B4).
