He was predeceased by: his mother Dragica; and his brother Tinko. He is survived by: his wife Mira; his children, Tania and Damir; his son-in-law Andjelko; his grandchildren, Bella and Nika; and his brothers, Ivan and Marko.

The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Leopold Mandic Church.
