It is with sadness that the passing of Vickie Hudson of Victoria, British Columbia is shared. Vickie, born on August 2, 1921, passed away on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alma Buxton Godbee and Leslie L. Godbee; her former husband J. E. Hudson; her siblings, Wade Godbee, Jutson Godbee, Vivian Hillis and Bernice Fleming; her son-in-law Steven Fries, Sr.; and her grandson-in-law Cory Bell.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph E. "Pete" Hudson; her children, Kitty Fries Lane (Bob) and Grover E. Hudson (Paula); her grandchildren, Christopher Fries, Katie Bell (Geoffrey), Jessica Hudson (Timmy) and Jordan Hudson; her stepgrandson Cody Miro (Jessica); her great grandchild Lexi Bell; and her nieces, Sandra Hillis and Phyllis Crim.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Joiner Anderson Funeral Home (502 Miller St Ext, Statesboro, GA 30458). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
