He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith Blackburn and Ernest Blackburn; his brother Barry; his son Ernie; and his close friend Ray Watkins.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia; his children, Susan and Michael (Theresa); his grandchildren, Chloe and Kenneth; and his sister Bernice. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
