He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Hay and Edna (Saunders) of Kingston; his brother Dr. Donald Hay (MD) of North Vancouver; his siblings-in-law, Janet of North Vancouver and Dr. Carmen Johnson of West Vancouver; Shirley Nicholson (George).
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Fraelic (Kim) and Frank (Alison); his grandchildren, Malcolm Grahame (Renée), Chelsea Hay (Wes), Ashley Webb (Hunter) and Liam; his great grandchildren, Parker, Suzie, Amelia Grahame, Sadie and Beau Webb; his siblings, Dr. Gwen Johnson (Carmen) of Ottawa and Dr. Robert Hay (Sharon); his sister-in-law Hilary Hay; John (Lori). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews.
