We bid farewell to Woneva Adair Cassel in Victoria, British Columbia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 30, 2025 at the age of 95. Woneva touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Leeper and Eva Leeper (Smith); her husband George E. Cassel; and her brothers, Douglas and Gene Leeper.
She is survived by: her daughters, Chris Smith (Adam) of Bedford and Peggy Bentley (Craig) of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Luke Smith (Meghan) of Seattle, WA, Chance Bentley (Joseph) of San Diego, CA and Faith Bentley of San Diego, CA; her great grandchild Seamus Smith; and her brother Bill Leeper of Chambersburg.
Woneva, along with George, were active volunteers in many community groups including the Bedford Co Food Bank, Bedford United Methodist Church and RSVP.
