With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edouard Jacques Ernest Maquignaz (West Vancouver, British Columbia), born in Montréal, Québec, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 95. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Edouard Jacques Ernest may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gloria; his children, Joanne (Rick), Gina (Bryan), Linda (Dave) and David (Suzy); and his siblings, Margaret (Allan), Ninette (Mario) and Louis (Françoise). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
