He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Else Brasso; his brother Einar; and his siblings-in-law, Donna, Sheila and Don.
He is survived by: his children, Christian, Peter (Jackie) and Lisa; his grandchildren, Tabitha, Charlotte, Matthew and Julia; his nieces, Celia, Krissy and Alison; his brother-in-law Terry; and his grandchildren, Kristy, Stephen (Khamphiou), Kelly, Sam, Jack, Kate and Grace.
Henning held several prominent positions including Chairman of the BC Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization, the BC Automobile Dealers Association and the BC Children's Hospital Foundation Telethon.
