He was predeceased by: his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Joan Townsend; his daughter Colleen Townsend; his stepchildren, Debbie Nelson (James), Mark Cook and David Cook (Melanie); and his sisters, Joan Acorn (Dave) and Carolyn Sewell (Graham). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many cherished friends.
