She was predeceased by: her husband Mark Mees (Maurits); her parents, Reginald Samuel Froud and Hazel Kathleen Froud; her brother Larry Gordon Froud; and her sister-in-law Helen Naumoff Froud.

She is survived by: her children, Mark Mees (Scot Matheson), Marla Ritchie and Carel Mees (Denise Zunker); her granddaughter Katie Ritchie (Shawn Hallgren); her cousins, Cheryl Froud, Donna Paul S, Gwendolyn Paul Jamieson, Audrey Froud Wilson, Margaret Froud (Bob Arnold), John Froud (Pat), Jeffrey Froud (Pat), Mark Brooks (Gayle), Mary Lynn Brooks, Sherry Brooks Ostrander (Tom) and Lisa Brooks Mandel (Danny); her nieces, Cynthia Froud-Cook (Bob Cook) and Janet Froud (Dan Christensen); her friends, Bob Plato and Joyce Nesbitt; her sister Marla; and also Carel. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews and friends.
