Timothy Mark Unruh Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Timothy Mark Unruh (Whistler, British Columbia) is shared. Timothy, born on February 20, 1960, passed away on June 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Ramsy Unruh; his parents, Cornelius Unruh (Corny) and Katharina Unruh (Katy); his mother-in-law Irene Barker; and his sister-in-law Colleen Barker.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Unruh; his children, Luke, Rachel, Abby and Ben; his siblings, Phil Unruh (Diane) and Noni Goertzen (Phil); his father-in-law David Barker; and his siblings-in-law, Stephen, Andrew Barker and Charlene Barker. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
He and Jeanette eventually made a change during Covid, as he was committed to Whistler, and led a small house church for a number of years during this time, always encouraging people back to Jesus and the truth of the gospel.
