Aileen Hewett Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Aileen Hewett of Williams Lake, British Columbia, who passed away on September 21, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her son Tom; her grandchildren, Dusty (Kara), Brent, James, Anita (Blake) and Dan; and her nieces, Pat, Diana and Linda. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.

Donations to the Child Development Centre in lieu of any flowers in her honor are appreciated.

“I just learned of Aileen’s passing at the grand ol’age of a hundred and two. I didn’t realize she had reached that huge milestone. Wow, …I always thought I would see her again. She was a jewel in our family. She literally bought my brother for a nickel. Unfortunately she had to return him a year later, because my mother declared, even though she accepted the payment, it was not a binding contract. Thanks Aileen for giving my brother the love and direction he so desperately needed,”
