He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilda and Heinrich; his granddaughter McKenna; and his siblings, Ninette (Hilmer), Fred (Hulda), Sieg, Hans (Heidi) and Karl.

He is survived by: his wife Adele; his children, Monika (Fred), Reni (Mike), Krista (Gerald) and Steven; his grandchildren, Sheldon (Shelby), Trent (Devon), Kelsey (Kyle), Landon (Annie), Jonathan (Emily), Devon, Jordan (Nataya), Reid, Kendra, Kayla and Abigail (Blair); his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Davis, Chase, Emmett, Mason, Cohen and Leo; and his sisters-in-law, Chris, Reta and Fran. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
